ENDOLITH (2010)
Endolith is an image/sound work in which the underlying
program takes a single row of pixels from a live camera input
and stacks these together to assemble an image according to
several predetermined strategies (some erratic). As each row is
captured visually, the color and luminance data gathered is
sonified towards creating an atmospheric, quadraphonic
soundscape. Images above are details from Endolith responding to different environments. Sound examples forthcoming.
