LUNAR AUDIFICATION (2009)
for Erik Carlson with the NASA RI Space Grant Consortium
Sound design and software creation for Erik Carlson, who was commissioned by NASA RI Space Grant Consortium to compose a musical work based on the timeline of the geological formation of the moon. My contribution involved developing approaches for intepreting scientific visualizations and video documentation as sound via additive and subtractive synthesis techniques. Performances of Carlson's composition will premiere in 2010.
